Growing, Fast paced, Upper East-Side Ambulatory Surgery Center seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse experienced in the Operating Room,. Ideal Candidate should have a minimum of 1 year Experience. Preferably with Ophthalmic Procedures. Preferably with a background in ambulatory surgery center setting. Highly Competitive Compensation. Trained and Knowledgeable Staff to work with.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work closely with surgical team including physicians, scrub technicians, and surgical support staff to ensure best practices;
• Adhere to our standard of patient care in all clinical activities;
• Promote a supportive and team-oriented environment;
• Work under direction of Nurse Leader.
• Checking vitals for patients.
• Reviewing the Health & Physical, EKG, Labs.
• Providing discharge instructions to the patients.
• Administering ophthalmic drops to patients.

Qualifications:

- Valid ACLS & BLS Certifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52.00 - $62.00 per hour
